Workshop on digital education tools and European Minerals Day event in Slovakia
The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU) has organised recently two events within the framework of the ProSkill project.
On 22nd October 2021, on the occasion of the European Minerals Day, STU organised the online event for high school and university students ‘Minerals for our everyday lives’. The thematic event focused on illustrating the essential role of mineral raw materials in the World’s economy. The invited speakers were Ing. Igor Wachter, PhD. and Ing. Tomas Stefko, PhD., experienced researchers from the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
In addition, STU also organised the ProSkill online workshop ‘Digital education tools for teachers and students – challenges in education of the Z and Alfa generation’ on 28th October 2021. The workshop for 12 lecturers from STU was led by Ing. Martin Foltin, PhD., lecturer, businessman and experienced country manager with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry.
